After working across 3 continents, I'm convinced ANZ produces some of the best B2B salespeople in the world.

The Observation

I've worked in London, San Francisco, and Sydney. The caliber of sales talent in ANZ consistently surprises me.

Why ANZ Sellers Are Different

1. Smaller Pond, Bigger Fish With fewer enterprise accounts, ANZ sellers HAVE to be creative. You can't just grind through a list of 10,000 Fortune 500s.

2. Relationship-First Culture The ANZ market is small enough that reputation matters. Burn a customer and everyone knows.

3. Scrappiness ANZ sellers don't have the same resources as their US counterparts. They learn to do more with less.

The Opportunity

If you're a global company not recruiting heavily in ANZ, you're missing out. These sellers punch above their weight.

The Challenge

We need to do better at retaining this talent. Too many of our best sellers head overseas because they think that's where the opportunities are.
